I’m not feeling well at all today. My tummy troubles from yesterday are still prevalent. The lower abdomen pain comes and goes, a dull ache at its best and doubled-over debilitating at its’ worst. It’s starting to mess with my mental so this will be a short post as I use the remainder of the day to seek care and rest.
Now, on to today’s practice:
This morning – before the cramping set in again – I felt well enough to start the day with some sun salutations and this simple yin yoga asana. I took my time getting out of bed this morning and completed this practice. It doesn’t require props but I used blocks to rest my thighs on during the supine twists. I wish I could say this made my tummy feel better but I will say that the deep belly breaths eased my mind…for the time being, at least.
Okay, I’m logging off to get some relief. *exhales* I hate this.
